Scottish money The SNP has called for the UK Government to levy a windfall tax against companies profiting from the pandemic to fund economic recovery.

Christine Jardine, a Scottish politician who represents Edinburgh in the UK parliament, was not a fan of universal basic income before the pandemic hit.
