There’s been alot of discussion lately around the concept of "Universal Basic Income."
The idea has been rolled out for experimental testing in Finland, the Netherlands, Canada, California, Kenya, and other pockets of the globe where governments have embraced the potential of the concept: namely, that by providing citizens a standardized payment to cover basic needs, they’ll be free to pursue their passions and creative projects – thus contributing increasingly innovative forms of value to the economy.
