Americans have experienced universal basic income (UBI) through STIMULUS checks, but residents of some states and cities are growing accustomed to this concept.
Individuals who qualify for UBI receive a series of ongoing payments from the government. These can be given out on a monthly basis, frequently throughout the year, or just once a year.
