What would you do with an extra £10k a year? Go on more fancy holidays? Start a business? Significantly expand your wardrobe? Buy a house?
Well, you might soon be in luck. Because the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) have just advised the government that introducing a concept called ‘Universal Basic Income’ (UBI) – which would see every British citizen under the age of 55 get a basic state wage of £10,000 per year – would be a very good idea.
And we are completely on board. I know, I know, it sounds too good […]
