We’d probably all go crazy and kill each other in our free time but I agree could easily afford it vs wasting money on s*** like the military. $1,000/month aint s*** but It can take the edge off for some people and could kick start local economies. It also provides a small safety net for people getting automated out of jobs.
people like to suggest that we can just retrain people for other jobs but that hasn’t been proven to be viable yet.
