HUMANOID: The robot is designed for heavy lifting and to replace humans Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) has developed a humanoid robot prototype called HRP-5P, which is capable of heavy lifting.
It is intended to autonomously perform heavy labour or work in hazardous environments, its intelligence comprises environmental measurement and object recognition, full-body motion planning and control.
