bpartnering with y Northwestern University , The City of Evanston, Illinois, has launched a universal basic income program called the Guaranteed Income Pilot Program. Which would provide 150 families with $500 per month for a year.
The program aims to study the effects of guaranteed income and will provide researchers at Northwestern University with a direct account of the experiences of beneficiaries after receiving the incentive check.
