Basic Income could be fully funded in a small medium-income country for only a few billion per annum.

Using an American $1500/mo UBI as standard, I estimate the raw cost per annum of delivering a roughly equivalent basic income in any given country as:

Cost = ($1500/mo * 12 mo) * (Target country cost of living index / USA cost of living index) * (population of country age 15 and above) * (purchasing power compromise multiplier).
