INCOME GRANT… The basic income grant (BIG) control officer Joseph !Ganeb who benefited from the pilot project has called on the government to take on the BIG project and roll it out to the rest of the country, especially to the youth. He said criminal activity has increased since the BIG project came to an end roughly 10 years ago. THE government is yet to decide on the implementation of the basic income grant, which was piloted between 2008 and 2009.
