California Governor Gavin Newsom and the California Department of Human Services (CDSS) have announced launch of the Pooled Fund, a pilot program to help organizations offering a guaranteed basic income .
The program that will have $25 million through public-private funds will support the state’s guaranteed basic income plans and provide resources to “start, maintain, or improve pilot programs,” according to with a statement government of California.
