Conservationists propose 'global conservation basic income' to safeguard biodiversity

A summary of some of the potential outcomes of the CBI identified in the literature. These are grouped into three themes: (1) post development—the impacts on the well being of recipient communities, contributing to their flourishing in ways that are driven locally and not by externally imposed development agendas. (2) Social–ecological—the ways in which CBI can contribute to alternative forms of human–environment relations.
