Residents of San Francisco, California who identify as transgender will benefit from the Guaranteed Income for Transgender People (GIFT).
55 people will be chosen in total for this 18-month program, which will run from January 2023 to June 2024.
The city, the non-profit Transgender District , and the provider of medical and mental health services Lyon-Martin Community Health Services are all partners in GIFT.Participants must complete surveys every three months to help the process be improved in order to remain in the program.
