Mallory Fink / KHTS News In an effort to lower labor costs, some fast-food franchises are turning to automation to take over tasks like taking orders, making simple items, or even delivery.
In Santa Clarita, these changes have already started to be implemented. Drive-thru visitors to the Weinerschnitzel on Soledad Canyon Road can have their orders taken by an automated voice program. Other companies also have plans to increase automation in the next several years.
