Former presidential candidate Andrew Yang pushes for universal basic income in Denver

The former presidential candidate supports a local nonprofit currently giving more than 800 people monthly payments as part of a pilot program. DENVER — For the past eight months, hundreds of people experiencing homelessness in Denver have been receiving monthly payments with no rules on how to spend the money and with no obligation to pay it back.
