Germany has decided, amid the Corona pandemic, to test on 120 of its citizens, a universal basic income. This of course has gained traction in recent years, especially with the rise of Andrew Yang and the pandemic putting massive numbers of people out of work (while corporations get trillions in bailout and the rich add billions collectively to their wealth).
