If some Americans will never have to work because they are born to wealthy parents, then what’s wrong with a universal basic income?

All you are saying is that: if the ‘idle rich’ can have money without working, why not the rest of us?

While it is true that some rich spend their lives in meaningless pursuits, many still work on projects and passions that interest them, which also benefit the wider community.
