If Universal Basic Income existed, wouldn’t the cost of living increase and counter balance? Andrew Yang is proposing $1,000/month to all US citizens. Seems like home prices would just inflate and so would other products. In countries where UBI was introduced, did this happen?

Inflation of prices could happen, but it could not happen to the extent that UBI became meaningless.

People charge prices that they can get away with. (A market crashes when the price suddenly is unsustainable.)
