As a substance abuse counselor for over 30 years, I applaud Stefan Geller’s story (“Walsh: City to install opioid overdose kits). Simply stated, Narcan can reverse an overdose. It is a miracle that can stop a death and save an addict’s life — and then maybe he or she will enter into treatment. We need treatment on demand.
