To be clear on terminology, there examples of where basic income pilots for particular groups have showed positive economic benefits. These are extrapolated to make the case for a UBI, for all adults. We don’t have evidence of practical examples of UBI helping economies because no one has implemented a UBI, which has to be universal and inalienable cash-equivalent payment to meet the definition of a UBI.
