The Finance Minister has been singing praises for the Prime Minister’s Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY). Under this scheme, free food grain was given away to needy people. This was praised in a recent International Monetary Fund (IMF) working paper .
