Commissioner Rodney Ellis, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, and Barbie Robinson discuss the guaranteed basic income program. The Texas Supreme Court sided with Attorney General Ken Paxton on Tuesday morning to block Harris County’s guaranteed income program to low-income residents.
But before the decision was made, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo appeared on Houston Matters and spoke to Michael Hagerty about the importance of the program.
