Tharman: Universal Basic Income is a bad idea for societies outside S'pore

Senior Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam has a blunt answer for supporters of the Universal Basic Income (UBI) policy.

The short answer — he thinks it’s a bad idea, for societies outside of Singapore.
