So….I’ve been for UBI for quite a few years now, and used to be super active on here. UBI seems like almost a perfect solution for addressing capitalism’s flaws without uprooting the whole system. It would redistribute income to people who need it, and give people the freedom to resist oppressive power structures they are otherwise regularly subjected to. It offers benefits no other solution does in terms of providing freedom.
