I mean why tax a new, burgeoning industry and those entering and building that industry when you can literally just redistribute obscene amounts of wealth that’s already being made elsewhere?
We don’t need some new industry to fund UBI. The whole point is that there is enough wealth, but access to it is increasingly skewed towards the 1%, leaving the 99% to fight over crumbs.
