It solves a lot of problems. When you have a basic support under people, that enables them to function better. Better workers, lower anxiety, aggression, etc.
But you have to believe in and support the inherent good in most people. If you don’t, UBI to you will just be a giveaway to the lazy, a takeaway from the hardworking, and a softening of the public that removes the impetus to grow strong through adversity or the risk of adversity.
