Women still saddled with unpaid work

Image used for illustrative purposes. THE United Nations Development Programme’s global policy network brief for March 2021 included a proposal that women who work and care for children receive a temporary basic income grant.

This should be introduced to bridge the gap between their increased childcare responsibilities and the capacity to generate more income.
