Brookings scholar Harry Holzer just released an interesting short piece analyzing the potential impact of artificial intelligence on job displacement; in it, makes five recommendations for mitigating AI’s impact on middle-class job opportunities. Educators at all levels should teach noncognitive skills, while continuing to foster narrower, in-demand technical skills that are connected to immediate employment opportunities. Image via Twenty20.
