The good times roll on with our job market. The March labor report came out today Wednesday showing Nevada added 3,500 jobs last month, bringing employment in the state to an all-time record high. Nevada again has the fastest-growing economy in the nation, with over 261,000 jobs added since the recession. Manufacturing saw the biggest increase, though manufacturing is not what it used to be. As TMCC Instructor Laure’l Santos told us, "20 years ago we used to have a lot of manual machines. In the last 20 years, a lot of these machines are now robotics."
