Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 22) — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez on Monday allayed fears that millions of Filipino workers may lose job in the next few years due to automation.
Lopez said the use of new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, among others, will not “kill” jobs but will pave the way for new employment opportunities.
