Ultimately I believe automation will create a self-sufficient, self-repairing and self-improving production system, which will provide everything anybody needs at no cost. People won’t need jobs, and if they work it will be work they want to do. Seeing this fully realized is quite far away, probably not in the lifetime of anybody reading this, but eventually it will happen.
