Earlier this week, and just months before the Lok Sabha elections, Congress president Rahul Gandhi promised guaranteed income for the poor if his party comes to power at the Centre.

Automation threatens a quarter US jobs by 2030: study – Xinhua | English.news.cn Approximately 25 percent of USA employment will "face high exposure" to automation by 2030, with greater than 70 percent of current task content at risk of replacement, a study from the Brookings Institution has found.
