Universal Basic Income

Universal Basic Income would solve much of the current social economic problems and might be the solution for the population at this time. To do this it needs to be issued to the entire population regardless.

This would provide for the problem of current inequality of income to the workers and supplement their wages allowing this to make up for the lower wages and hours. 44 percent of the homeless in America work a full time job and UBI would help solve their homeless crisis right there. It would also allow for workers to have a bargain plan for their […]

Universal Basic Income

The Universal Basic Income is a system for everyone. The Idea to basic income goes as far back as the sixteen hundreds by Sir Thomas More. In the late eighteenth century he argued in his book, titled Utopia, in which he expressed that every person should receive a guaranteed income. From the nineteenth century to the nineteen sixties there was a debate on how basic income was limited. The United States and Canada had negative experiments with it. Europe tried desperately to broaden the idea and since has taken off with the expansion to more countries. Some countries started […]

Could it really work ? As like described by Rutger Bregman . A set allowance for everyone in society. If you listen to him his theories are very interesting . I actually think it is the way forward . But a fantasy in our current society . There is no way the elite 5% who control the world would let it happen . The rest of us are only here to make that 5% richer .

Universal Basic Income

When people learn that I want to replace the welfare state with a universal basic income, or UBI, the response I almost always get goes something like this: “But people will just use it to live off the rest of us!” “People will waste their lives!” Or, as they would have put it in a bygone Universal Basic Income Is Not a New Idea “Perhaps the first person to talk about [a universal basic income] was Thomas Paine, the founding father of the United States, who talked about providing every citizen of the U. DURING the past few weeks, international reports have surfaced that the Finnish experiment with basic income will not be extended, disappointing many progressive thinkers. This is because the Finnish experience has been looked at as a potential model for similar programmes worldwide which have grown in popularity as a potential solution to many modern-day anxieties.

Put simply, universal basic income means everyone would receive a small paycheck, regardless of whether working or not, and of income. In particular, there is a very great fear that automation will replace most jobs, and artificial intelligence almost all the others eventually. Universal basic […]

The idea of providing everyone with a guaranteed universal basic income (UBI) is something that is being increasingly discussed. One reason is that as automation increases, the need for human beings may decrease or their jobs may shift to ones that are low-skilled and thus pay less. Finland is one country that is trying out the idea of a universal basic income, with a pilot program that gives $587 a month tax-free to 2,000 residents, regardless of their job status or wealth with “the only caveat is that recipients had to have been receiving an income subsidy from the […]

It wasn’t long time ago when Swiss had a referendum about universal basic income (UBI). They rejected it. The initiators of the campaign for UBI wanted a minimum salary to be paid to everyone regardless of their age, occupation or level of income. The UBI was aimed to replace pensions and benefits thanks to which numbers of bureaucrats would decrease. One argument for such a change is advancing automation and the end goal is to disconnect salary from work.

The Swiss economy is one of the most efficient economies in the world. Robotised manufacturing […]
